In partnership with APAL, Albufeira hosted the XII Luso-Andalusian Business Meeting.

On the past Friday, November 10th, the Congress Hall of Grande Real Santa Eulália in Albufeira hosted the XXII edition of the Luso-Andalusian Business Meeting, the first one held in this city. The meeting was the result of a joint initiative by the Diputación de Seville, through Prodetur, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Seville, Albufeira City Council, and APAL - Albufeira Promotion Agency.

Based on the economic characteristics of each region and considering the characterization of their business fabric, this Meeting aimed to create conditions for the exchange of experiences, strengthen the network of contacts, and develop business opportunities and partnerships.

Through the collaboration and joint work of organizations in their respective territories, the Meeting was another step towards promoting commercial relations and exchange of services, taking advantage of the geographical proximity.

The morning featured various speeches, including José Carlos Rolo, Mayor of Albufeira, Rodrigo Rodríguez Hans, Vice-president of Prodetur, Desidério Silva, President of Albufeira Promotion Agency, and Miguel Rus Palacios, President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Seville.

In addition to various presentations about Albufeira and Seville, some successful case studies in terms of exchange were shared, as well as various available options to support cross-border business cooperation, particularly through the "European INTERREG - POCTEP Program."

The afternoon was reserved for networking sessions.

It's worth noting that this event brought together about a hundred participants, with half coming from each side of the border, including auxiliary companies in the commerce and hotel industry sector, independent workers, and entrepreneurs in general.
